Bykea, an on-demand transport, payment and logistics startup, has raised yet another investment. This time, the investment came from the Middle East. The venture capital firm, Middle East Venture Partners, decided to invest $2 million in Bykea. It was announced by the venture capital firm a few days ago. It was the first investment of the firm in a Pakistani startup.
At the start of May of 2019, it was announced that Bykea had been successful in raising $5.7 million Series A funding from Sarmayacar. Sarmayacar is also a venture capital firm which invests in the Pakistani startups.
We wish all the best for Bykea and hope that venture capital firms continue to see the bright prospects of the Pakisani startup ecosystem and do not shy away from investing in the local startups.
