Pak vs NZ 2nd Test Day 1 Highlights

New Zealand’s bowling was right on the money as they utilized only 5 bowlers. The stand apart entertainer for them was Kyle Jamieson who went through his third 5-wicket haul. Boult and Southee picked a couple of wickets as well. Matt Henry returning to the side was somewhat unpredictable toward the beginning. He later rebounded with the ball as he scalped the most significant wicket of Azhar Ali, who was unfortunate to miss his 18th test century. A couple of dropped catches and few edges not carrying to the fielder summarized the day for New Zealand.

Azhar Ali however kept on holding his wicket as Pakistan captain Mohammad Rizwan held hands with his number 3 batsman and began the rebuilding process. The team before long began rotating the strike and before long went on to locate the odd limits simultaneously yet went past their fifties. They were working out in a good way for an 88-run stand when Rizwan got out in the 46th over at a team score of 171. Azhar Ali continued with his resistance and went on to score 93 runs. Faheem Ashraf indeed demonstrated his strength with the bat when he made 48 runs and newcomer debutant Zafar Gohar scored 34 runs.

Everything began with New Zealand winning the toss and putting Pakistan to bat as the conditions were said to be good for the bowlers in the first couple of days. The guests however didn’t begin how they would have preferred as they lost Shan Masood for a duck at a plumb LBW, which was surprisingly reviewed. At that point, a 62-run partnership between Abid Ali and Azhar Ali resuscitated their batting somewhat before Abid Ali left. Not long after Haris Sohail who has had a helpless trip in the Test arrangement so far followed him and Fawad Alam was the following one to withdraw from the pitch courtesy of a brilliant bouncer from Jamieson.

What dose of Test cricket we have had. Splendid bowling, great batting, and good lower-order demonstration of resistance. New Zealand would be somewhat more joyful as they have castled Pakistan for 297 runs.
